Marwan Faruq Sehwail graduated from the Northwestern University School of Law in 2010. Marwan joined the firm in 2015 and became a partner in 2023. His practice focuses on construction disputes, breach of contract litigation, and representing the interests of individuals in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Muchmore & Associates PLLC, Marwan worked for a large international firm and practiced in the fields of commercial real estate transactions, litigation and arbitration, regulatory investigations, and cross-border disputes and discovery. Marwan also operated a law practice in Chicago, Sehwail & Sweis, where his victories included relieving a convict from a life sentence issued under a three-strikes law for a non-violent offense. Marwan has represented global banking institutions, private equity, high-net-worth individuals, and real estate professionals. Marwan is admitted to practice in New York and Illinois and speaks Arabic and Hungarian. Prior to joining Muchmore & Associates, Marwan practiced law at some of the largest firms in New York, and operated a law practice in Chicago.
