Sophie Wang graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2013, where she served as an editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal. Sophie graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Laws from East China School of Political Science and Law. Since joining Muchmore & Associates PLLC in 2017, Sophie has represented contractors, condominium boards, and owners and lessees of real property in disputes ranging from lien foreclosures to shareholder freeze-outs. Her current practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction disputes, and real estate litigation. Sophie has become a go-to litigator for investors, developers and hospitality entrepreneurs in New York’s Mandarin-speaking community. As a senior associate, Sophie now oversees the work of junior associates and manages case strategy. Prior to joining the firm, Sophie worked for law firms in both New York and Shanghai. She is fluent in Mandarin and Shanghainese.
